The FTA-Solar pump's innovative Advanced Hybrid motor and controller design allows it to be powered with both AC and DC power sources without additional modifications or additional equipment.
The maximum power output of the Advanced Hybrid controller and the motor is 2200w (3hp).
The maximum DC voltage is 440voc, enabling outstanding efficiency.
The motor has been developed specifically for the FTA-Solar Advanced Hybrid submersible pump range with a speed range of 500-3900 rpm
and is designed to match the input power and load.
The motors are based on the most advanced technology, utilising rare earth permanent magnets.
They are also available with an inbuilt electronic unit containing a frequency inverter, and motor controller, with an optional external control box.
The FTA-Solar system offers a soft start with variable speed drive through its advanced MMPT functionality and Vector Control.
This enables the pump to operate at any set point in its performance range, depending on available power, load and water source.

motors, which typically last between 2,000 and 3,000 hours.
Moreover, our FTA-Solar motor is equipped with a ceramic-coated bearing journal,
enhancing its resistance to wear and tear while eliminating the risk of seal failure and bore
water contamination associated with oil-filled motors.
